Hyderabad, July 28: Just days after revealing the delay of the trailer for the highly anticipated horror thriller '418 The Film', the production team has now announced a postponement of the film's release itself.

Mythri Movie Makers, a well-known production house, took to social media to share a poster stating, "The dreaded door will open a little later. 418 The Film will not be releasing on July 31st. A new release date will be announced soon. Thank you for your patience and love. We promise to give all your love back in the form of fear. It will be worth the wait. Enough of laughing at horror movies. Now, it's time to be scared. #MythriBringsHorror."

Just last Saturday, the production house had released a similar poster to inform fans about the trailer's delay, which disappointed many who were looking forward to the film's debut on July 31.

For those unfamiliar, '418 The Film' stars Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju, and Preethi Pagadal in leading roles.

Directed and written by Kirtan Nadagouda, the film is presented by the acclaimed filmmaker Prashanth Neel, with Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar producing it under the Mythri Movie Makers label.

Insiders suggest that '418' aims to provide a gripping horror experience, focusing on fear, suspense, and psychological tension rather than humor. The creators are marketing it as a chilling thriller intended to keep viewers on the edge of their seats throughout.

The film features a talented technical team, with cinematography by Dinesh Divakar, music composed by Venky GG, and production design by Ullas Hydoor.
