Mumbai: Actress Rashmika Mandanna took to social media to share her love for her younger sister, Shiman Mandanna, as she celebrated her 13th birthday on Saturday.


In a sweet post on her photo-sharing platform, Rashmika expressed her affection, saying, "Happiest 13 to you my sweets! 13 is fun so make sure you have fun while you are at it! I love you sweetie!! Biigggggesssstttt swiiisssshhhhy hugs!"




The latest update from the 'Animal' star featured delightful images of her sister beside her birthday cake, including a cute shot of her cake-smeared face.


It's interesting to note that Rashmika and Shiman share a significant age difference of 16 years. The 'Pushpa' star has often mentioned that she views Shiman as her own child.


Shiman was recently spotted at Rashmika's wedding to actor Vijay Deverakonda in Udaipur this past February.


On the professional front, Rashmika is set to star in Rawindra Pulle's highly anticipated action thriller Mysaa.


The production team has recently kicked off a 15-day action sequence in Kerala.


To prepare for the demanding scenes, Rashmika underwent extensive training at a stunt and combat bootcamp in Bangkok, Thailand.


Sources indicate that the 'Girlfriend' actress dedicated over eight hours daily to training for Mysaa in Bangkok.


In this upcoming film, Rashmika will portray a tribal Gond girl.


The main cast of Mysaa also includes Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram, and Rao Ramesh in key roles, among others.


Additionally, Rashmika will share the screen with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon for the first time in the much-anticipated sequel Cocktail 2.


Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, this film is a follow-up to the 2012 romantic comedy Cocktail, which featured Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty.
