Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda wrapped up their wedding celebrations with an extravagant reception held in Hyderabad on March 4. Following their marriage in Udaipur on February 26, the couple had a busy schedule. Rashmika made a visit to Vijay’s ancestral village, Thummanpet in Telangana, to participate in the Satyanarayan Vratham. During this visit, the new bride met her husband’s maternal relatives and sought their blessings. Photos of the couple with Vijay’s extended family quickly gained popularity on social media. Their trip to Thummanpet also had a charitable aspect, as they announced scholarships for students in 9th and 10th grades across 44 government schools in the Achampet division of Nagarkurnool district, facilitated through the Deverakonda Charitable Trust.

Notable attendees included Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Karan Johar, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Naga Chaitanya, Nani, Naveen Polishetty, Kriti Sanon, and Mrunal Thakur. The gathering celebrated the ViRosh wedding, showering the newlyweds with love and blessings. During the reception, Vijay and Rashmika posed for photographers and expressed their gratitude for the support they received. Vijay humorously remarked that their celebrations would now come to a close, and they would be going 'underground quiet.'

Upcoming Film: Ranabaali

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda's next film is Ranabaali

According to reports, Rashmika and Vijay are set to resume filming for Ranabaali starting March 12. This marks their first project together post-wedding. The film, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, features them as a couple on screen. The first song from the movie, titled Endhayya Saami, was released after their wedding. Vijay stars as the titular character Ranabaali, while Rashmika plays Jayamma. Promoted as a pan-India visual spectacle, Ranabaali is scheduled for release in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on September 11. The duo previously collaborated on Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, where they began dating during the latter's filming.
