Ranveer Singh Begins Production for 'Pralay'

New Delhi: Renowned actor Ranveer Singh has officially commenced shooting for his upcoming film Pralay in Mumbai, marking his first venture as a producer.

The film is helmed by Jai Mehta, who gained recognition for his work on 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story'. Singh is producing the film in collaboration with Ananya Birla's Birla Studios, True Story Films, and Maa Kasam Films, as stated in a recent press release.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Mumbai, Pralay promises to blend stunning visuals with a profound emotional narrative. The story revolves around themes of survival, bravery, and the instinct to protect what is most important when everything around you begins to unravel.

Joining Singh in the film is Kalyani Priyadarshan, known for her role in Lokah.

Previously, Singh starred in Dhurandhar The Revenge, which achieved remarkable success, grossing over Rs 1800 crore worldwide. Directed by Aditya Dhar, he portrayed the characters Hamza Ali Mazari and Jaskirat Singh Rangi.

The film also featured notable actors such as R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi, among others.
