When they finally met in London, Ranveer expressed his desire to play Lalit Modi as a commissioner. Lalit praised the actor, stating, "It wasn't me who approached him; I think he's fantastic. Without a doubt, he's incredible in what he does." While Lalit is uncertain if Ranveer will ultimately take on the role, he appreciates that the actor had shown interest two years ago and is pleased with Singh's success in the Dhurandhar franchise.
