Ranbir Kapoor has finally spoken out regarding the ongoing rumors about his potential role in Dhoom 4. For years, the Bollywood actor's name has been associated with the next chapter of Yash Raj Films' popular action series, yet neither he nor the studio had confirmed these claims until now. While promoting Ramayana at the San Diego Comic-Con, Ranbir took the opportunity to clarify that he is not involved in Dhoom 4, instead sharing details about his current projects.

Clarification on Ramayana and Dhoom 4

During the promotional event for Ramayana, which featured director Nitesh Tiwari, producer Namit Malhotra, and actors Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, the actor was questioned about his rumored participation in Dhoom 4. In a conversation with the Review Nation YouTube channel, the host noted that Yash would soon appear in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, while Ranbir was expected to star in Dhoom 4. However, Ranbir quickly refuted these claims, stating, "No, right now I am working on Ramayana and another film called Love & War, directed by Mr. Sanjay Bhansali, which is set to release in January next year."

The Dhoom Franchise Legacy

This is the first time Ranbir has publicly addressed the persistent rumors about Dhoom 4. His name has frequently appeared in discussions about the franchise, but there has been no official confirmation from either Yash Raj Films or the actor himself. The Dhoom series, which began in 2004, is renowned for its thrilling bike chases and stylish heists, featuring charismatic villains. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga confirmed that production for Animal Park will commence after he finishes his current project, Spirit. Vanga elaborated that the sequel will broaden the narrative established in Animal, introducing new characters and conflicts, with Animal Park expected to start filming towards the end of 2027.
