He was afraid of facing it alone and asked me directly, ‘Can you help me in dying?’ He convinced me that if I didn’t assist him, he would do it alone, leaving me with no option.”

Ram shared that he was by his father's side in the ICU, while the rest of the family remained unaware that no treatment was being administered. “He just wanted me to hold his hand and help him pass peacefully. I promised him I would be there. He feared being alone, not death itself, and wished for no tears at his funeral,” he revealed.
