During an interview with Navika Kumar for The Newshour, Ram Charan shared his perspective on being part of a film family. He remarked, "From a young age, I never viewed my background as an advantage or a disadvantage. I was blissfully unaware of the fame surrounding my family, focusing instead on my own aspirations. My parents never pressured me into any career path." He emphasized that his father, Chiranjeevi, maintained a grounded lifestyle, often returning home after long hours to engage with the family. "I grew up in a very ordinary environment, and it was only when I saw my father on television or in public that I recognized his star status. He was always present for us, dedicating his weekends to family time," he added.

Janhvi Kapoor, the daughter of the late Sridevi, shared her own experience of growing up in the shadow of fame.
