Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' May Get a Unique Black and White Version
Exciting Possibility for 'Jailer'
Chennai. Following the tremendous success of the blockbuster film 'Jailer' featuring superstar Rajinikanth, the creators are contemplating an innovative approach for the audience.
In a recent discussion, cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan revealed that he and director Nelson Dilipkumar are considering presenting the film in a completely black and white (monochrome) format. If this plan materializes, viewers could witness a different side of Rajinikanth on screen.
When asked if the success of 'Jailer' would inspire him to explore new ideas, Vijay Karthik mentioned that Nelson is a huge fan of black and white visuals. He cited the example of 'Spider-Noir', explaining how a monochrome look could entirely transform the film's mood. This new format could offer a fresh and unique experience, enhancing the action sequences, dramatic scenes, and Rajinikanth's screen presence.
However, the cinematographer clarified that this idea is still in the realm of interesting possibilities and has not been finalized. It remains to be seen how the general audience will respond to this black and white experiment. Meanwhile, the 'Jailer' franchise has also received an extraordinary response in Telugu-speaking regions, where 'Jailer 2' has amassed over ₹51 crores in share collections from this area alone.
