His name also surfaced in a Bitcoin investigation conducted by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) two years ago, leading to the attachment of assets worth Rs 97.79 crore under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. Additionally, in 2021, he faced scrutiny from the Mumbai Police regarding a pornography case, resulting in his imprisonment for nearly two months before he was granted bail. Kundra has yet to seek relief from the court concerning this ongoing case.

The case involves charges under the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act, and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. The police also indicated that multiple individuals were involved in the shooting, management, and monetization of the content.

Kundra has consistently denied the allegations, asserting that the content in question was erotic rather than pornographic. After spending nearly two months in judicial custody, he was released on bail in September 2021.
