Priyanka Chopra to Present at the 98th Academy Awards
Priyanka Chopra Returns to the Oscars Stage
Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra is set to grace the stage at the upcoming Academy Awards. She has been announced as one of the presenters for the 98th Oscars, which will take place on March 15. Chopra will be part of a stellar lineup of global celebrities presenting awards during this prestigious event. The ceremony will be hosted by comedian Conan O'Brien and will be broadcast live from the renowned Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
Star-Studded Presenters Lineup
Having previously presented at the 88th Academy Awards in 2016, where she introduced the Best Film Editing category, Chopra's return is highly anticipated. The announcement confirms that she will share the stage with several notable Hollywood figures, including Oscar winners Robert Downey Jr. and Anne Hathaway. Their participation is expected to significantly enhance the star power of the event. Fans are particularly thrilled about Downey Jr.'s appearance, as he will reunite with his former Iron Man co-star Gwyneth Paltrow, creating a nostalgic moment for Marvel fans.
Chopra confirmed her role by sharing the list of presenters on her social media, captioning it: “The 2026 Academy Awards.” This announcement follows her recent appearance as a presenter at the Golden Globe Awards, where she shared the stage with Blackpink's Lisa, and their friendship videos went viral.
Additional Presenters for the Ceremony
The Academy has also announced several other presenters for the ceremony, including actor Paul Mescal and Emmy-nominated comedian Will Arnett. In line with tradition, last year’s acting winners will return to present awards, featuring best actor winner Adrien Brody and best actress winner Mikey Madison. Supporting category winners Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldaña will also take the stage to present awards.
The presenters' lineup includes other notable names such as Chris Evans, Javier Bardem, Maya Rudolph, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, and rising star Chase Infiniti. More presenters are expected to be revealed as the ceremony date approaches. The 98th Academy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC on March 15, starting at 7 p.m. Eastern Time and 4 p.m. Pacific Time (5:30 a.m. IST). This year, the film Sinners leads the nominations with an impressive total of 16, making it the most-nominated film of the year.
