Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh has publicly apologized to actress Anjali Raghav after a video surfaced from a recent event in Lucknow, where he was seen touching her waist multiple times on stage without her consent. This incident took place during the promotion of his song 'Saiya Seva Kare', which features Anjali.

In response to the criticism, Pawan Singh shared a message on his Instagram Stories, stating in Hindi that he had no 'wrong intention'.

He expressed, 'Anjali ji, vyasth schedule ke kaaran main aapka live dekh nahi paaya. Mujhe jab iss baat ki jaankari huyi, toh mujhe bura laga' (Anjali, due to my busy schedule, I couldn’t watch your live performance. When I learned about the situation, I felt very bad).

Pawan further clarified, 'Mera aapke prati koi bhi ghalat intention nahi tha kyuki humlog kalakaar hai. Iske bawajood, agar aapko humari kisi bhi byawahaar se taqleef huyi ho toh uske liye main shama prarthi hoon' (I had no wrong intention towards you as we are artists. Nevertheless, if my behavior caused you any discomfort, I sincerely apologize).

Anjali later posted several videos on Instagram expressing her discomfort, initially believing something was stuck to her clothing, but her team confirmed that nothing was there.

In a separate development, Pawan Singh's second wife, Jyoti Singh, took to Instagram to accuse him of neglecting her and failing to provide support. She claimed he made false promises during the election period and mentioned that his actions led her to contemplate self-harm.
