Box Office Performance of 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'
Actor and politician Pawan Kalyan has made his comeback to cinema with the release of 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'. Despite the anticipation surrounding the film, audience reactions have been mixed, leading to a notable decline in box office numbers following a strong debut. Here’s a detailed box office report for 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'.
Box Office Collection on Day 5:
The film opened strongly, earning Rs 12.75 crore from its premiere shows and Rs 34.75 crore on its first day. However, it experienced a drastic 76.98% drop on the second day, bringing in Rs 8 crore. The film saw a slight recovery on Day 3 with Rs 9.15 crore and Rs 10.6 crore on Day 4. Unfortunately, collections fell sharply again on Day 5, decreasing by over 78%.
As per early estimates from Sacnilk, the film garnered Rs 2.25 crore on its fifth day, bringing the total box office earnings to around Rs 77.50 crore across all languages. The Telugu version remains the strongest performer, contributing the majority of the revenue, and despite the ups and downs, the film has maintained a respectable total in its initial five days.
The production of the movie faced numerous delays since its announcement in 2020. In an interview with a media outlet, Pawan Kalyan explained the reasons behind the delays, stating, “Director Krish Jagarlamudi presented us with a compelling story that we all appreciated. The pandemic caused significant delays, and I also became occupied with my political endeavors. Although Krish had to step back for various reasons, Rathnam and Jyothi Krishna took over the direction and worked tirelessly to complete the film.”
