During his conversation, Paresh expressed his views on the transformation of spy thrillers, contrasting Tiger Zinda Hai with Dhurandhar 2. He remarked, “Our exposure to global cinema has significantly increased, allowing us to easily access shows like Game of Thrones that feature violence. This exposure has desensitized us, making such content more acceptable and enjoyable in our films.”

The Artistic Representation of Violence

Why is blood artsy in cinema?

He further elaborated, “As long as the narrative emphasizes that good triumphs over evil, the violence depicted is acceptable. Look at our own Mahabharata; it’s filled with conflict. If you leave men to their own devices, they will inevitably fight. This is why we need women and their nurturing energy to balance things out. The current cinematic trend shows more blood, influenced by directors like Quentin Tarantino, who have made violence an art form.” Paresh concluded, “Throughout history, men have been engaged in battles. The conflicts we see today are just a continuation of that legacy. Art and music are essential to provide the necessary balance.”
