Palak Tiwari's Streaming Debut in Lukkhe

Palak Tiwari is set to make her debut in the streaming world with the original series Lukkhe, where she draws inspiration from her mother, Shweta Tiwari’s television legacy. In this series, Palak takes on the role of Sanober, a character who navigates the intricate dynamics of love, ambition, and insecurity within a competitive music scene. Acknowledging the weight of expectations stemming from her mother’s celebrated career, especially her iconic portrayal in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Palak views her role as both a homage to that legacy and a chance to carve out her own identity as a performer with emotional depth.

Reflecting on the challenges of following her mother's path, Palak remarked, “Naturally, there’s added pressure since she is one of the most expressive actresses. My character, Sanober, also expresses her emotions openly. It genuinely feels like Sanober is my tribute to my mother’s legendary character, Prerna from Kasautii Zindagii Kay.” This connection underscores the emotional depth of her character, who faces vulnerability while dealing with intense relationships, creative rivalries, and self-doubt.

In Lukkhe, Sanober's journey is closely linked to themes of music, ambition, and personal sacrifice, elevating the stakes of her choices. Palak mentioned that her mother offered valuable insights into the emotional nuances of her performance while also encouraging her to maintain her independence. She recalled a crucial lesson that shaped her approach during challenging scenes, particularly those involving co-stars with strong emotional narratives.

Palak shared, “My mom has always emphasized that if you can evoke feelings in the audience, especially making them cry, everything else will follow. However, she also believes in allowing me to discover my own path as an actress. One significant piece of advice she gave me during this project was to not strive to dominate every scene. Each scene has its own hero.” This mindset has been vital for Palak as she embraces her role in Lukkhe.

The series is produced by Vipul D. Shah and Rajesh Bahl, with Himank Gaur at the helm as director. Created and executive produced by Deobjit Das Purkayastha and Agrim Joshi, Lukkhe promises a grand, drama-filled narrative centered around music. The cast features Palak Tiwari alongside Raashii Khanna, KING, Lakshvir Singh Saran, and Shivankit Singh Parihar, among others. Set to premiere on May 8, 2026, Lukkhe marks a significant milestone for Palak, intertwining her personal journey with her mother’s lasting impact on television.
