Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha joined the celebration of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru's second consecutive IPL victory on Sunday (May 31). She shared a video on her Instagram Stories that quickly drew attention for the wrong reasons. The now-deleted video featured unusual background noises, which led to various misinterpretations online. Shortly after posting, Nushrratt removed the clip, prompting speculation about the sounds.

Clarification on the Background Sounds

In response to the confusion, Bharuccha took to Instagram to clarify that the noises were from her friend's puppy, who was crying during the recording. She stated, “Some people have taken this too far. A puppy's crying sound has caused such a stir, and someone even issued a false clarification on my behalf. Here’s the truth... I was at my friend's house watching the match, and their young puppy was making those sounds. This video was captured by my friend from a different angle at the same time.”

In another Instagram Story, she elaborated, “This is where I was watching the match. Here’s the puppy. This video was taken later that night. Anticipating the backlash, I was advised to delete the original video, which I did. People, please calm your wild imaginations! Just because you have a phone doesn’t mean you should harass others. Think before you jump to conclusions!”

It was uploaded by mistake.” The fake post further stated, “One accidental post and suddenly everyone becomes a detective. Please stop believing every rumor online. Not everything needs a conspiracy theory. Let’s promote peace and reduce toxicity on the internet. It’s amusing how a few seconds of audio can keep the entire internet busy for a day.”
