Recent rumors suggesting a comeback featuring only three members have sparked both excitement and criticism among the fanbase. Speculation intensified following studio reservations in Copenhagen, indicating that production may already be in progress. ADOR later confirmed that the trip was part of pre-production but did not clarify whether all members would participate. A significant concern for fans is the uncertainty surrounding Minji's return, despite her previous statements expressing a desire to resume group activities, leading to division and worry among supporters. The group, often referred to as NJZ during this time, sought to terminate their contract with ADOR due to management disputes and allegations of mistreatment.

NewJeans is a five-member K-pop girl group established by ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE Corporation, under the creative direction of Min Hee-jin.
