Nani's 'The Paradise' Shatters Records: First Film to Cross 100 Crore in Telugu States!
Nani's Groundbreaking Achievement
Nani's latest action thriller, The Paradise, has achieved a remarkable milestone at the box office, becoming the actor's inaugural film to exceed 100 crore in gross earnings within the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This accomplishment was reached on the film's tenth day of release, showcasing a strong performance despite receiving mixed reviews from critics upon its launch.
Although the film's overall box office performance in India has been deemed underwhelming, it has shown a steady, albeit modest, trajectory. After a holiday weekend, The Paradise garnered 2 crore in net revenue on its second Saturday. This figure reflects a 28.57% drop from the 2.8 crore earned on its ninth day, yet it suggests that the film is maintaining a stable presence in theaters as it enters its second week.
Box Office Success and Regional Achievements
The Paradise has amassed a total net collection of 113 crore at the Indian box office, equating to around 133.34 crore in gross revenue. Notably, 102.5 crore of this total has come from the Telugu-speaking regions. This achievement cements the film as Nani's highest-grossing project in these states, surpassing his previous film, HIT: The Third Case, by an impressive 42.9%.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film boasts a talented cast that includes Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni, and Raghav Juyal. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Ishan Saksena under the banners of Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas and IVY Entertainment, the film was made with a budget of 200 crore. As it continues to perform in theaters, it currently holds a rating of 7.1 out of 10 on IMDb. Industry experts are now keenly observing whether The Paradise will gain enough traction to surpass the 146.04 crore net collection record held by Prabhas’ The RajaSaab.
