Mrunal Thakur Discusses Modern Love and Communication Challenges
Mrunal Thakur on Love in the Digital Age
Mumbai, Feb 17: Actress Mrunal Thakur, who is preparing for the release of her new film ‘Do Deewane Sehar Mein’, has shared her thoughts on the challenges of love in today's world, particularly regarding communication.
During a promotional interview, she expressed that the digital era has created a sense of fatigue due to the overwhelming number of choices available.
Thakur remarked, “The primary issue we face today is communication. As an actor, it becomes even more challenging because when I portray a character that requires me to adopt a negative mindset, it can inadvertently affect my interactions with my partner, family, and friends. Personally, I strive to keep my roles separate from my home life.”
She elaborated, “Communication has its advantages and disadvantages. While spending quality time with Bhagyashree, the mother of Abhimanyu Dasani, she recounted her own romantic journey. She emphasized how significant each moment was back then, waiting for that one call a week from a payphone, highlighting the depth of love during that era. Nowadays, with so many ways to communicate, that simplicity seems to have diminished.”
‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’ features Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sandeepa Dhar, and Ayesha Raza. The film is produced by Zee Studios, Bhansali Productions, and Ravi Udyawar Films, and is scheduled for release on February 20, 2026.
