Mouni Roy Shines at the 78th Cannes Film Festival

Mumbai: Actress Mouni Roy captivated audiences with her stunning look at the ongoing 78th Cannes Film Festival, where she donned an eye-catching black outfit.

This marks her second appearance at Cannes, representing India and its film industry, dressed in a beautiful creation by Caroline Couture, complemented by exquisite Chopard jewelry.

She shared on social media: “A special night in Cannes with @chopard @chopardbycaroline #carolinescouture xGlam by @diorbeauty.”

In terms of her film career, Mouni is set to star in David Dhawan’s upcoming project, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. On May 16, she expressed her excitement about collaborating with the director, calling it a dream come true.

Mouni shared, “If anyone understands magic and the concept of dreams coming true, this is it. Working with David sir has been a lifelong aspiration. His films are like the show 'FRIENDS' to me. He and Rohit sir are the foundation of this film. It has been the best experience ever. (sic)”

Reflecting on her experience with co-star Varun, she remarked, “Varunaaaaa @varundvn, you are the most dedicated, hardworking, loving, and handsome superstar I have collaborated with. Unfortunately for you, your personality overshadows your talent as an actor/dancer, but I see that as a positive.”

She also praised her co-star Pooja, stating, “@hegdepooja, you are beautiful inside and out, and I will always remember the support you provided me for a scene I wasn’t ready for.
