Adding to the speculation, Mouni's close friend, Disha Patani, also unfollowed Suraj. Reports indicated that Mouni had removed all photos featuring Suraj from her profile. On May 14, the couple confirmed their separation through a joint Instagram post. Shortly after, they resumed following each other, suggesting they are navigating their split amicably while expressing a desire to maintain their friendship.

Instagram Activity Sparks Rumors

Earlier this week, the lack of mutual following on Instagram raised eyebrows among fans. Disha's decision to unfollow Suraj further fueled the rumors. Eventually, Mouni and Suraj made their split public, stating, "We would like to announce that we have decided to part ways and are taking the necessary time to address matters privately and amicably." Following this announcement, they reconnected on Instagram, although Disha has yet to follow Suraj again. Interestingly, Mouni has retained her wedding photos from their ceremonies in Goa, which included both Bengali and Malayali traditions. The couple first met on New Year’s Eve in Dubai in 2019 and were together for three years before marrying.
