During the interview, Monalisa was asked about the changes she hopes to see in the Bhojpuri film industry. She noted that positive transformations are already underway. Reflecting on her earlier work, she mentioned that there were many quality films and songs produced. However, she pointed out a phase when double-meaning songs became prevalent in some albums, leading to negative perceptions of the industry from outsiders. She expressed her desire to eliminate such songs, stating, "Definitely, those songs should not be made."

Monalisa emphasized that changing the audience's mindset is crucial, as they continue to consume these double-meaning songs. Additionally, she mentioned the importance of aesthetic shooting in music videos, stating, "Some songs are shot in a way that makes them look unappealing."

As the conversation progressed, Monalisa candidly discussed the financial disparities between male and female actors in Bhojpuri cinema. She acknowledged that actresses often receive lower pay compared to their male counterparts. Reflecting on her own experiences, she shared that while she received numerous offers in Bhojpuri films, financial compensation was lacking. "I used to get 10-12 films a year, but the money wasn't substantial. My real earnings came from the TV industry, especially after my stint on Bigg Boss in 2016," she revealed.
On the professional front, Monalisa was recently featured in The 50, where she participated alongside her husband, Vikrant Singh Rajpoot.
