Drishyam 3 Achieves Major Box Office Success
New Delhi: The latest installment of the franchise, Drishyam 3, starring the renowned Mohanlal, has made a remarkable Rs 43.37 crore globally at the box office.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film premiered in theaters on May 21, garnering Rs 18.37 crore gross and Rs 15.85 crore nett domestically. Its international earnings have reached Rs 25 crore, as reported by the trade analysis platform Sacnilk.
The Drishyam saga began with a Malayalam film in 2013 featuring Mohanlal, followed by a sequel released in 2022, both helmed by Joseph.
The franchise's popularity has led to remakes in various languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Mandarin, and Sinhalese.
The Hindi adaptation, directed by the late Nishikant Kamat and starring Ajay Devgn, also achieved significant box office success.
Mohanlal expressed his gratitude to fans for their overwhelming support. On Thursday, he shared a heartfelt message on his X account, accompanied by the film's poster, stating that the film was crafted with deep love and appreciation.
