Drishyam 3's Impressive Box Office Performance
The family drama featuring Mohanlal, Drishyam 3, has been making waves at the box office since its debut. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film hit theaters on May 21, 2026, and quickly garnered impressive earnings. Following a strong opening weekend, the Malayalam film experienced a dip in collections during the weekdays. However, it saw a surprising uptick on Wednesday, with the film surpassing the Rs 75 crore milestone within its first week.

As per early estimates from Sacnilk, Drishyam 3 earned Rs 6.65 crore on Wednesday, marking a 2.3% increase from the previous day's collection of Rs 6.50 crore. Over the course of seven days, the film's total earnings reached Rs 75.30 crore, a significant achievement for a Malayalam film released in a limited number of theaters. On Wednesday, the film maintained a 32.7% occupancy rate in cinemas. The total gross collection in India has now reached Rs 87.38 crore, while the film also earned Rs 5 crore internationally on day 7. In total, Drishyam 3 has grossed Rs 95.70 crore globally, with a worldwide collection of Rs 183.08 crore after its first week.
Examining the film's performance across different languages, the Kannada version earned Rs 10 lakh, while the Tamil and Telugu versions brought in Rs 20 lakh and Rs 50 lakh, respectively. The original Malayalam version collected Rs 5.85 crore in India on its seventh day.
