A Groundbreaking LPG Management System Unveiled

At a press event in Bengaluru, Avani Kakekochhi, the reigning Miss Diva Cosmo 2025 and India's representative for Miss Cosmo 2026, introduced RiGas, a pioneering LPG Management System. This launch signifies a pivotal step in her mission to enhance LPG safety awareness and promote preventive measures for households and communities.

The event was graced by Dr. C. N. Manjunath, a Member of Parliament, along with other esteemed guests at the Laghu Udyog Bharati, Karnataka Auditorium. Developed under Avani's leadership at Supram Technologies and Services Pvt. Ltd., RiGas embodies a tech-driven approach to LPG safety and management. It aims to provide LPG-risk alerts, bolster emergency preparedness, and streamline cylinder tracking and replenishment, addressing a pressing issue for millions reliant on LPG across India.

With the guiding principle, "Every Home Deserves Tomorrow," RiGas transcends mere technology, laying the groundwork for a broader social initiative focused on fostering awareness, prevention, and timely responses to LPG-related hazards.

A Personal Journey Fuels a Greater Purpose

A Personal Tragedy Inspiring a Larger Mission

Avani's motivation for RiGas is deeply rooted in personal loss. She tragically lost her aunt in an LPG accident during the COVID-19 pandemic, which opened her eyes to the emotional and financial toll such incidents can inflict on families. This experience solidified her determination to create a solution that could help avert similar tragedies.

Believing that safety should be integral to daily life, Avani strives to make LPG safety knowledge as commonplace as first aid, empowering individuals and communities to identify risks, respond appropriately, and prioritize preventive actions.

Community Engagement and Safety Advocacy

From Karnataka to Communities Across India

Through her fire safety initiative, Project Suraksha, Avani aims to extend her message beyond technology, fostering discussions on household safety, emergency readiness, and responsible LPG use. Partnering with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Project Suraksha seeks to broaden the reach of RiGas and enhance LPG safety awareness throughout India, making preventive technology and safety education more accessible to those in need.

Avani's advocacy also emphasizes making the national LPG emergency helpline, 1906, as recognizable as the police emergency number, 100, ensuring citizens know where to seek help during LPG emergencies. By enhancing public awareness and community involvement, she aspires to embed emergency preparedness into everyday life.

A Vision for Safer Homes

Taking Indian Innovation and Purpose to the Global Stage

Originating from Karnataka, the RiGas initiative highlights the state's growing role in fostering indigenous innovation and socially responsible entrepreneurship. The initiative has already garnered an Elevate award and a grant of ₹11 lakh from the Government of Karnataka, propelling its development and outreach.

With plans to engage policymakers, safety professionals, LPG distributors, and educational institutions, RiGas aims to conduct safety workshops in schools and communities, develop educational resources in regional languages, and improve access to safety equipment and professional guidance.

Initially targeting 10,000 individuals and 1,000 homes for enhanced safety within its first year, the initiative aspires to reach one million people and 100,000 homes over the next three to five years through partnerships and awareness programs.
