In a recent episode of Baatein Dil Se hosted by Navika Kumar, lyricist Manoj Muntashir expressed his disapproval of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and its supporters, accusing them of raising anti-India slogans during the NEET paper leak protests at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. While he emphasized that he does not condone the paper leak, he called for accountability from the authorities and made it clear that he would not participate in the CJP-led demonstrations.

Manoj Muntashir's Views on the CJP Protest

During his conversation with Navika Kumar, Manoj Muntashir articulated his perspective on the ongoing protests related to the NEET paper leak. He firmly stated that he would never align himself with the CJP's ideology, saying, "I will never go to Jantar Mantar. I don't feel comfortable standing with those who are currently leading this movement there. The youth of this country deserve better leadership than the CJP."

Regarding the paper leak, he insisted that the system must provide answers. "Nobody in this world will defend the NEET paper leak. Even if a single life was claimed, then the entire system will have to be answerable," he stated. However, he criticized the CJP-led protest for straying from its original focus. "Are they even discussing the NEET paper leak at Jantar Mantar? I have been observing the kind of speeches being delivered and the individuals participating. Those who believe in 'Bharat tere tukde' are joining. People who do not recognize Kashmir as part of India are arriving. I am calling them traitors with great responsibility. Referring to our Lord Shri Ram as Sita's husband is extremely derogatory," Manoj expressed.

Manoj Muntashir is a renowned Indian lyricist, screenwriter, and poet, celebrated for his patriotic Hindi film songs and dialogues. Over the years, he has penned lyrics for numerous successful Bollywood films and often focuses on devotional and motivational tracks. Recently, he contributed songs for the war film Border 2, a sequel to the 1997 classic Border, directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar and JP Dutta. He has also written lyrics for other recent films such as Sky Force, Emergency, Sarfira, and Devara.
