In her conversation, Mandana expressed that every Iranian woman she knows has faced challenges under Khamenei's regime. She stated, "As a woman in Iran, you lack the freedom of expression, and there are strict regulations on attire. Additionally, the education system restricts women from pursuing certain fields of study." She highlighted the low legal marriage age in Iran, revealing that women have limited rights regarding divorce. "If I recall correctly, the legal age for marriage is just 9 years, which makes life incredibly difficult for women in Iran," she noted. Mandana shared that the oppressive environment led her to feel overwhelmed at the age of 18.
