Major Breakthrough in Tiger Shroff Shooting Case: Four Arrested in Weapon Supply Chain

The investigation into the shooting incident involving Tiger Shroff has taken a significant turn with the arrest of four suspects, including two women. The Delhi Police have uncovered a complex weapon supply chain linked to the attack. As authorities delve deeper into the case, they are working to identify the broader network involved and the specific roles of each suspect. This article explores the details of the arrests and the ongoing investigation, shedding light on the events leading up to the incident.

Significant Developments in the Shooting Investigation

The inquiry into the shooting incident linked to actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai has made notable progress. Authorities in Delhi have detained four suspects, including two women, for their alleged roles in acquiring and transporting the firearm used in the attack that occurred on October 18. The individuals, named Kunal, Sumit, Radha, and Babita, were arrested following a strategic operation by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police.

Reports indicate that the arrests took place on October 20, with Kunal and Sumit being captured in Sonepat, Haryana, while Radha and Babita were apprehended at the New Delhi railway station. After their initial court appearance under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, a team from Mumbai Police obtained a three-day transit remand to facilitate their formal arrest and further questioning regarding the firearm and ammunition supply chain involved in the incident.

Insights into the Weapon Supply Chain

Initial investigations reveal that Kunal, who had recently been released on bail, allegedly communicated with a person named Anil Pandit through an encrypted messaging app. Following these directives, Kunal and Sumit reportedly acquired a pistol along with 20 rounds of ammunition in Amritsar. It is claimed that Kunal then convinced Radha and Babita to transport the weapon to Mumbai. The firearm was concealed in a bag carried by the women, who arrived in Mumbai and checked into a hotel near Dadar station on October 17. Authorities report that a minor boy collected the bag from them the next morning, just before the shooting incident occurred on the evening of October 18.

Ongoing Investigation and Future Steps

In the aftermath of the shooting, investigators allege that Pandit directed Kunal to assist the shooters in escaping from Mumbai. Radha and Babita reportedly took the Dadar-Haridwar Express to Delhi on the same day as the incident. The Special Cell of the Delhi Police successfully intercepted them shortly after. As the investigation progresses, authorities are concentrating on uncovering the larger network involved in the weapon supply and the specific contributions of each of the four suspects in custody. The Mumbai Police are conducting further interrogations to fully understand the conspiracy and identify any additional individuals linked to the case.
