Production Team's Response to Piracy
In light of the piracy issue, the production team, represented by lawyer Vijayan Subramanian, issued a stern public notice cautioning against the sharing or consumption of pirated material. The notice emphasized that downloading, forwarding, or distributing leaked clips is a criminal offense. The lawyer highlighted that his client is the producer of Jana Nayagan, which features Vijay and is directed by H. Vinoth, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film has been produced with a substantial investment and holds significant value across theatrical, satellite, OTT, and commercial platforms. The producer expressed shock and urgency upon discovering that certain scenes had been illegally accessed, downloaded, and circulated, posing a serious risk of digital leakage on social media.
