Mumbai: Following the conclusion of his tour across India, football superstar Lionel Messi shared a heartfelt montage video on social media, showcasing memorable moments from his trip.

Among the highlights was his encounter with Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor and her two children, Taimur and Jeh.

Thrilled to be featured in Messi's farewell video, Kareena expressed her excitement by giving a shout-out to her son Taimur.

She shared Messi's video on her Instagram Stories, captioning it, “Ok Tim then this happened (heart emoji) for you (heart emoji) (sic).”

During his time in India, Messi mingled with several prominent figures from the film industry, including Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, Shilpa Shetty, and Geeta Basra, among others.

On Wednesday, Messi delighted his followers with a special video and a heartfelt goodbye message for his Indian fans.

The video featured clips of Messi interacting with children at the stadium and meeting cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. Notably, he chose to highlight only his moments with Kareena and her sons in the montage.

In his post, Messi wrote, “Namaste India! What incredible visits to Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. Thanks for the warm welcome, great hospitality, and all the expressions of love throughout my tour. I hope football has a bright future in India (sic).”

Messi arrived in Mumbai on Sunday as part of his Indian tour, which had a rocky start in Kolkata.

He faced an awkward situation at the Salt Lake stadium, where political and influential figures disrupted the event, leaving fans frustrated as they were unable to see Messi despite purchasing expensive tickets.

After Kolkata, Messi continued his journey to Hyderabad and then Mumbai.
