He experienced severe chest pain, prompting a medical team to rush to his residence. Upon arrival, they found him unconscious and immediately transported him to Manipal Hospital.


Death Confirmed Before Hospital Arrival

Dr. Shekhar Salkar from Manipal Hospital reported that Nana Patekar was already deceased by the time he reached the facility. Despite the medical team's efforts to revive him, there was no response. Reports indicate that he received CPR for approximately 45 minutes.


The hospital declared him dead around 5:20 AM, with initial reports attributing his death to cardiac arrest. A post-mortem examination is expected to follow as part of the medical protocol.

According to reports, Patekar experienced sudden chest pain early in the morning, leading to the dispatch of a medical team to his home in Goa. He was found unconscious and in critical condition upon their arrival.
