Prior to the wedding, Khushboo Sundar and Sundar C made a trip to New Delhi to extend a personal invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Khushboo shared photos from their meeting on social media, expressing gratitude for the Prime Minister's blessings. The family also visited Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay at his residence in Chennai to invite him personally, with Khushboo referring to him as her brother in her social media post.

In a recent event leading up to the wedding, Khushboo shared that the family was fully engaged in the preparations. "My elder daughter is occupied with her wedding plans, while my husband Sundar is busy with the shooting of Purushan and the wedding arrangements. My younger daughter is managing the film production work," she stated. Khushboo and Sundar C, who have been married since 2000, are proud parents to two daughters, Avantika and Anandita.

In addition to her wedding preparations, Avantika has reportedly signed on for several acting projects and is looking forward to the release of her Malayalam film Aarambham. Meanwhile, her younger sister, Anandita Sundar, is carving out her own path in the industry, having worked with filmmaker Mani Ratnam on Ponniyin Selvan 2 and Thug Life, and recently making her debut as a creative producer with Double Occupancy.
