Significant Evolution in a 14-Year-Old Franchise

The ‘Student Of The Year’ franchise debuted in 2012, featuring a star-studded cast including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Siddharth Malhotra, and quickly became known for its portrayal of college life, friendships, romance, fashion, and music. The sequel, ‘Student Of The Year 2,’ was released in 2019, starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, and Tara Sutaria.

Now, as the franchise marks its 14th anniversary, Karan Johar is steering it in a fresh direction, emphasizing mystery and excitement over the traditional glitz of college settings.
