The 49-year-old actor proudly showcased his new buzz cut, describing it as “fantastic,” and expressed heartfelt thanks to his doctor, Ken Anderson, for making a significant impact on his life. Cena's honest discussion about his hair-loss journey struck a chord with fans and attendees alike.

In a conversation with PEOPLE during the event, Cena shared insights into his choice to undergo two hair transplants. He remarked, “The goal is to enhance my hair, and this was the most effective method,” while gesturing towards Anderson. He recounted returning for a second procedure 15 months after the initial one, expressing his delight with the outcome. “I went back to him and said, ‘You did an amazing job. There’s just this tiny spot left. Can you help with that?’” Cena revealed, emphasizing the trust he places in his doctor.

Cena elaborated that Anderson's method allows for faster follicle placement when the patient's head is shaved. He detailed the lengths of his procedures, noting that the first surgery took 13.5 hours, while the second was completed in eight hours. This level of detail highlights Cena's dedication to achieving optimal results in his hair restoration journey.

In June 2026, Cena shared updates on Facebook regarding his second round of follicular unit extraction (FUE), stating, “Round 2 of FUE Treatment and this time I went all in for the best possible results.” He expressed gratitude towards Anderson and his team at the Anderson Center for Hair, highlighting the support he received throughout the process.
