During a heartfelt conversation on a talk show, Lopez shared her changing views on breakups, seeing them as chances for personal growth instead of failures. She stated, "Breakups are not a failure," and suggested that they can act as a "launchpad into your next best self." Lopez believes society should celebrate breakups, proposing, "We should have a party when we break up. People should say, 'You broke up, congratulations.'" This optimistic perspective comes from her belief that experiencing heartbreak can lead to personal triumph, as she explained, "If you're the one who's being heartbroken, you're the winner."
