A Nostalgic Return for Jackie Shroff


New Delhi: Actor Jackie Shroff took a trip down memory lane as he posted a photo from his visit to Subhash Ghai's office, the very place where he signed his debut film, Hero.


In Ghai's 1983 film Hero, Shroff played the lead role of Jai Kishan, which turned out to be a massive success at the box office.


On Monday, he shared a nostalgic image on his Instagram, expressing his gratitude: "Feeling blessed to revisit the spot where it all started! Entering Subhash ji's office, now known as Pooja, where I signed my first film, 'HERO'! Sending my best wishes always," he captioned the post.




The storyline of Hero centers around a henchman who abducts Radha (played by Meenakshi Seshadri), the daughter of a police commissioner, for his boss.


This role marked a significant turning point in Shroff's career, leading him to star in numerous successful films like Khalnayak, Ram Lakhan, and 1942: A Love Story, among others.


His most recent project is Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, which is set to release in 2025.
