On Tuesday, she shared two photos on Instagram; the first featured her lifting her T-shirt to reveal her baby bump, while the second showed her with the T-shirt lowered, still highlighting her bump.

In her post, she used emojis representing a pregnant woman, a baby bottle, and a baby. However, sources close to the situation have suggested that this might be an elaborate April Fool’s prank. Many social media users have expressed doubt, with some even claiming it could be generated by AI. This skepticism is fueled by a previous announcement from her team on February 1, 2024, stating she had died from cervical cancer.


The following day, Poonam clarified that the earlier announcement was a publicity stunt aimed at raising awareness about cervical cancer, which ignited significant controversy.
