Mumbai, April 20: The teaser for the highly anticipated film 'Krishna' was recently launched at the NAB Show 2026 in Las Vegas. Directed by Manu Anand, this film marks a significant shift from conventional VFX or animation-centric filmmaking. It utilizes an AI-driven production pipeline that integrates technology into every aspect of the filmmaking process, from world-building and character development to shot design and final output, all while adhering to a director-led cinematic storytelling approach.


A New Era in Filmmaking

'Krishna' is part of Historyverse, a growing collection of history and culture-focused intellectual properties from Collective Studios. This project is touted as one of India's most ambitious mythology-based endeavors, drawing inspiration from historical figures and traditions that have influenced the subcontinent for centuries, including stories related to Kali, Karna, and Durga.

This film represents a collaboration between Collective Artists Network and Jio Studios. Central to 'Krishna' is a groundbreaking cinematic pipeline developed by Galleri5, the in-house AI platform of Collective Artists Network, which leverages Microsoft Azure’s advanced AI and cloud technologies.

The first look of the film and the AI platform from Collective Artists Network were highlighted during Microsoft’s keynote at NAB, titled ‘Powering Intelligent Media; From AI Experimentation to Real-World Impact’.
