New Delhi: Actress Huma Qureshi has described her character in the film Bayaan as both "challenging and rewarding" as she anticipates its screening at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

Directed by Bikas Ranjan, the film showcases Qureshi as Roohi, a resolute police officer tackling her first significant case against a cult leader accused of sexual misconduct, as detailed in a press release.

Expressing her pride in the film's festival selection, Qureshi stated, "Roohi is a character who remains steadfast under tremendous pressure, and embodying her journey has been a transformative experience for me as an actress.
