In the autumn of 2025, his brothers, Kevin and Derrick Boseman, launched Boseman Family LLC, a creative firm aimed at producing projects that honor the arts and make a positive community impact. This initiative seeks to celebrate the vision of the late Black Panther actor while creating opportunities for artists, filmmakers, and new voices in the entertainment sector.

In a conversation with AfroTech, Kevin Boseman revealed that the idea for Boseman Family LLC was inspired by Chadwick's own production company and the growing interest in projects that pay homage to his life and contributions. "The inspiration came from Chad's own company, and we've received offers to create work inspired by him," Kevin stated. He highlighted that establishing their own business was the most effective way to collaborate with others in the industry.

Derrick Boseman mentioned that the family was careful in choosing partners for their new endeavor. "I always pray for guidance to connect with individuals who will lead us in the right direction," he shared. After turning down numerous proposals over the years, they eventually found two women who played a crucial role in shaping the company's vision and management.

Instead of focusing solely on profit, the Boseman brothers view their company as a means to create lasting opportunities for artists and storytellers. Kevin pointed out the success of family dynasties in the entertainment world, like the Jacksons and the Wayans, and expressed his belief that the Boseman family has similar creative potential. He envisions Boseman Family LLC evolving into "an ecosystem" where family members and collaborators can uplift each other while fostering new talent.

The establishment of Boseman Family LLC coincides with the recent debut of Chadwick Boseman's play Deep Azure at Shakespeare's Globe in London, marking a significant achievement for the family. Derrick acknowledged that navigating grief is a complex process, stating, "Grief is such a tricky monster." He noted that each new project related to Chadwick brings back memories of his brother. As they anticipate what would have been Chadwick's 50th birthday on November 29, 2026, the Boseman brothers are committed to developing projects that embody his values and artistic vision, believing he would take pride in their endeavors.
