About Wednesday

Wednesday Season 1 is a supernatural mystery that follows Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) at Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts. After being expelled for a prank involving a piranha, she investigates a town's mysterious monster (Hyde), uncovers the school's hidden secrets, and thwarts a resurrection scheme; all while forming new friendships and experiencing supernatural visions.

Wednesday grapples with her roommate Enid's upbeat nature but they eventually bond. She finds herself in a love triangle with barista Tyler and brooding student Xavier. Meanwhile, Wednesday learns that the monster is actually her love interest, Tyler, who is under the influence of her botany teacher, Ms. Thornhill (Laurel Gates). In the finale, Thornhill resurrects Joseph Crackstone, a 17th-century outcast-hating pilgrim, to wreak havoc on Nevermore. Wednesday overcomes both threats, saves the school, and heads off on vacation, but an unfamiliar danger looms over her.
