During his guest appearance on the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast, Holland shared that discussions about his departure have been in progress since the conclusion of "Spider-Man: No Way Home" in 2021. "We have a comprehensive plan that we've been developing since we wrapped up Spider-Man: No Way Home," the 30-year-old actor mentioned. He expressed excitement about Spider-Man's future, indicating that while the plan may change, he has a clear vision for handing over the character to the next actor.
