Tom Holland's latest superhero adventure, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', continues to shine at the Indian box office as it enters its second Tuesday. After 13 days of release, the film has demonstrated remarkable growth, especially with advance bookings now open for the upcoming Independence Day films. Its success is highlighted by impressive ticket sales, keeping it at the top of the box office rankings.

On its 13th day, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' achieved an estimated net collection of Rs 8.50 crore from 12,851 shows across India. The gross collection for the day reached around Rs 10.02 crore, bringing its total net earnings to Rs 431.55 crore and gross earnings to approximately Rs 515.95 crore. This outstanding performance underscores the film's strong resonance with Indian audiences.

As 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' continues to attract viewers, it will face competition from two new films debuting this weekend: Emraan Hashmi’s 'Awarapan 2' and Sunny Deol’s 'Batwara 1947'. Early advance booking data shows that 'Awarapan 2' is leading, with around 20,300 tickets sold and a gross of approximately Rs 86 lakh from over 1,140 shows. In contrast, 'Batwara 1947' has only managed to generate about Rs 20 lakh from roughly 1,120 shows.

The difference in advance ticket sales indicates that 'Awarapan 2' is set for a strong opening, benefiting from the loyal fan base of its predecessor, which was released in 2007. Despite both films having a similar number of shows, 'Batwara 1947' has experienced significantly lower occupancy rates compared to 'Awarapan 2', suggesting a more favorable reception for Hashmi's film.

As 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' aims to maintain its box office momentum in its third week, it will need to navigate the strong advance bookings of its competitors. Released in India on July 30, a day before its global premiere, the film features Holland reprising his iconic role alongside Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and others. With total earnings of Rs 504 crore, it has become the highest-grossing Hollywood film in India, surpassing Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey', which grossed Rs 201 crore.
