After being introduced to director Sujeeth by Trivikram, he learned that his character would be a gangster dressed in Japanese attire, wielding both a sword and a gun. Although he initially struggled to grasp the story, he later recognized its significance for younger audiences after observing his son eagerly reading the film's notes.
Pawan Kalyan also confirmed intentions to explore both a sequel and a prequel to OG. He acknowledged the disappointment that accompanies a film's failure but expressed that the success of OG has rekindled his passion for acting.
