Musk's AI Project Takes Shape

Elon Musk has launched a seven-minute AI-generated episode inspired by Homer’s classic, The Odyssey, marking a significant milestone for his Grok Imagine initiative. This release, credited to Wonder Studios and directed by Dev Walker, comes months after Musk vowed to create a version of the epic that remains true to its historical roots and original narrative.

The timing of this project coincides with the end of Christopher Nolan’s theatrical adaptation of The Odyssey, which grossed around USD 1.8 billion worldwide. Musk has openly criticized Nolan’s film, particularly the casting of Elliot Page as Sinon and Lupita Nyong’o as Helen of Troy, claiming these choices were influenced by the Academy's diversity and inclusion criteria for Oscar nominations.
