A Grand Celebration of Talent
The 32nd Annual Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, kicked off with much fanfare on Sunday, March 1, at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. For the third year in a row, the event was broadcast live on Netflix. Kristen Bell, known for her role in Nobody Wants This, returned as the host for the third time, having previously emceed the event in 2018 and 2025.
2026 Actor Awards: Honoring Catherine O'Hara
This year, Harrison Ford was honored with the prestigious Life Achievement Award, recognizing his extensive contributions to Hollywood. The award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture went to Conclave, while Anora took home the Best Picture award. Other significant accolades included Best Actor and Actress in various categories such as Comedy Series, Drama Series, and Limited Series.
Catherine O'Hara was awarded Best Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role in The Studio, while Seth Rogen received the Male honor in the same category for his performance in the same show. In the Drama Series category, Noah Wyle won Best Male Actor for The Pitt, and Keri Russell was recognized for her role in The Diplomat. Michelle Williams took home the award for Female Actor in a TV Movie or Limited Series for Dying for Sex, with Owen Cooper winning the Male honor for Adolescence.
Remembering Catherine O'Hara
O'Hara, a celebrated Canadian-American actress, received the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor award just a month after her untimely passing, for her remarkable work in The Studio. She triumphed over a strong lineup of nominees, including Kathryn Hahn, Jenna Ortega, Jean Smart, and Kristen Wiig. Keri Russell was the first to win at the event, earning the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role in Netflix's The Diplomat.
