She emphasized that the tribute was not merely an acknowledgment of his work but also a celebration of his passionate journey filled with dedication and love for his audience. The actress reminisced about her husband’s belief that 'film is a way to connect with the heart'. She noted his enthusiasm for acting and how he connected with viewers through his performances. 'He was a remarkable man. I feel fortunate to have shared my life with him, yet I deeply miss him now. His absence leaves a void that I struggle to fill,' Hema Malini expressed.
Remembering Dharmendra's Final Days
For those unaware, Dharmendra passed away on November 24, 2025, at his home in Mumbai. In his memory, two prayer meetings were organized—one in Delhi and another in Mumbai. Hema Malini also conducted a Gita Paath at her residence to honor her husband.
