The premiere of Netflix's Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa was filled with poignant moments for several participants. Akanksha Chamola disclosed her impending divorce from her husband, Gaurav Khanna, who is also a winner of Bigg Boss 19. Meanwhile, actor Harshad Chopda opened up about a deeply personal secret he had kept for 16 years. Before entering the show, he revealed that his girlfriend had betrayed him by cheating with his best friend, which has led him to be reserved and private about his life, avoiding sharing much on social media.

Harshad Chopda's Heartfelt Confession on Lock Upp

During his time on the show, co-host Riteish Deshmukh pointed out that despite Harshad's two-decade-long career, fans know very little about him. Harshad acknowledged his private nature and faced criticism for being perceived as 'ungrateful' in front of the audience. He expressed to hosts Riteish and Farah Khan that he felt fans were primarily interested in his professional work, stating, "I'll try and work on it. I want to work on it and be better and not be ungrateful." His cellmate on the show is Shivangi Joshi, his co-star from Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 4.

Harshad drew the 'Expose' card on Lock Upp, which required him or Shivangi to disclose a secret. He volunteered and shared a shocking truth: "I lost my friend and my girlfriend at the same time. My girlfriend cheated on me with my best friend. Since then, I've been a bit cautious. That's my secret." Shivangi attempted to console Harshad, who appeared overwhelmed by the revelation, while fellow contestant Sufi Motiwala expressed support by shouting, "We love you!"
