In the interview, Gippy firmly rejected the notion that he feels jealous of Diljit. He expressed, "I still can't comprehend who these people are that claim I have jealousy towards him. In the Punjabi industry, we have Sargun and Sonam (Bajwa). We all collaborate together." He further added, "No one has ever told me that I have an issue or jealousy towards him. So how do people come to know? Where did they hear that I spoke about another actor?"

Sargun, who participated in the same discussion, also shared her perspective. She pointed out that if Gippy had any issues with Diljit, it wouldn't make sense for his son to collaborate with the Punjabi actor. She concluded, "That's it, and that's the end of the conversation. There is a camaraderie, which is why (he did). Otherwise, he would be like 'Hello beta, you cannot go there.'"
