After nearly a decade of marriage, Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola have decided to part ways. Akanksha confirmed their separation during the premiere of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, revealing that they are currently living separately. The couple is now in the process of finalizing their divorce. Meanwhile, an old clip featuring Gaurav from Bigg Boss 19 has resurfaced online, where he faced backlash for allegedly using a sensitive subject to gain sympathy. During the show, he asked celebrity astrologer Jai Madaan about the possibility of having children with Akanksha in the future.

Gaurav's Emotional Moment on Bigg Boss 19

At a press conference for Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav became visibly emotional when questioned about fatherhood. A reporter asked if he was seeking sympathy by discussing children with the astrologer, especially since he and Akanksha had decided against having kids.

In a recently circulated clip, Gaurav expressed his deep affection for children, revealing that he had initially desired to start a family with Akanksha. He remarked, "In today's world, few men love their wives enough to prioritize their wishes over their own," in Hindi.

Later, Farrhana Bhatt asked Gaurav about his emotional response when discussing children and his wife. He turned the question back to her, asking how she felt when Jai Madaan mentioned her father. When she expressed her discomfort with such discussions, Gaurav replied, "Exactly, I also prefer no one to talk about my wife; I am here, not her."

Akanksha Chamola Discusses Their Divorce

On Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, Akanksha explained that their decision to divorce was mutual. She emphasized that they maintain a friendly relationship and still communicate. "We don't believe we are compatible as partners since we envision very different futures, but there is no animosity between us," she clarified. The couple got married in 2016 in Kanpur, Gaurav's hometown.

The reality show premiered on June 27 at 8 PM on Netflix and will continue to air from Saturday to Wednesday at the same time.
